The use of personal fire pits is permitted but they must be
off the ground on bricks. You will need to supply your own wood or purchase from reception @ £8.00 a net.
Fire pits are also available to hire at £7 per night
Hot & Cold Drinks and Snacks are available from the 'Hiker's Rest' vending hut located next to the site barrier. The hut also has the facility to freeze ice blocks and charge electronic devices.
Useful Information
You are able to purchase all your supplies from the variety of shops in either Ashington (few minutes drive), Storrington (5mins drive) or Steyning (10mins drive)
Ashington has a Coop in the village and the Services a few minutes drive up the A24 towards Horsham has an M&S shop on site
Larger supermarkets are located as follows:
Morrisons /Tesco's Worthing - 20mins drive
Tesco Extra Horsham - 20mins drive
The Frankland Arms is the traditional village Pub just a few minutes walk from Washcamp and serves food daily

There is a large recreational field and children's play park in Washington village across the road from the site
The Bus stop is outside the site entrance with services to local villages and all major towns
There is a dog walking field adjacent to the site along with unlimited footpaths in and around Washington Village
The South Down's Way is just 20mins walk from the site via Washington Village
The nearest Chemist is located in Storrington
